In "500 Years of Music for Guitar," American guitarist/composer Peter Griggs
 presents an overview of the modern guitarist's repertoire from the Renaissance
 to the Contemporary.  Music by composers as diverse as Gaspar Sanz, Johann Sebastian
 Bach, Bartolome Calatuyud, Django Rheinhardt, Baden Powell and Thelonious Monk will
 be performed along with several of Griggs' own compositions.

 

Peter Griggs is an accomplished guitarist and composer who has recently presented
 more than 300 solo concerts throughout the USA and Europe. A native of New  York City, he has been based in recent years in Dusseldorf, Germany.
